Dr. Jianye Ge ,Department of Forensics and Investigative Genetics at University of North Texas Health Science Center. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in computer science from Nankai University, China, and a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the University of Cincinnati in 2009. His research relates primarily to forensic genetics, bioinformatics, and data mining, such as developing algorithms and interpretation guidelines for forensic genetics applications. He has published about 30 peer-reviewed papers (most in the top journals in relevant fields) and several book chapters. He has been invited as editorial board members of two scientific journals. The software programs he developed have been used by multiple Federal and State government agencies. Dr. Xanth Mallett,School of Behavioural, Cognitive and Social Sciences,University of New England,Armidale,Australia holds a 1st Class Bachelor of Sciences (Honours) degree, a Masters of Philosophy (Cantab), and a Doctorate in Forensic Facial Recognition. She has considerable years experience as a forensic anthropologist, specialising in biometric research. Dr Mallett was part of a team that travelled to Brazil to teach best-practice in human identification, and has co-authored a numerous reports for UK police forces. In her professional capacity as a forensic anthropologist she undertakes casework, research, and teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She was involved in the Disaster Victim Identification training as part of the national response capability. Dr Mallett also worked on a major collaborative biometrics project in association with the FBI. In addition, she is currently co-authoring a monograph of forensic anthropology, as well as co-editing a textbook entitled "Advances in Forensic Human Identification".

Rick Wyant received his Master’s Degree in 1994, has been forensic scientist since 1995 and a reserve deputy since 2000. He currently supervises the forensic firearms unit at the Seattle crime laboratory and is court qualified in firearm/tool identification, crime scene analysis, less-lethal devices, and trajectory reconstruction. He has been analyzing evidence related to Electronic Control Devices (ECD) and Less Lethal impact munitions since 2001 and is one of the founding members of CRT LL.  Rick and CRT LL have taught these protocols to police agencies, scientists, students and attorneys all over the US and abroad including the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands and Canada.  He is a distinguished member of the Association of Firearm and Toolmark Examiners, an associate member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, a board member of the Scientific Working Group for Firearms and Toolmarks(SWGGUN), and the NIJ Technology Working Group (TWG) for less-lethal weapons.
