Faming Liang has received his PhD in the Chinese University of Hong Kong during the period of 1994-1997. Currently, he is working as Professor of Statistics in Texas A&M University. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Journal of the American Statistical Association and Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics. He has authored more than 50 research articles. He is an elected member of ISI.

Nengjun Yi has received PhD in Quantitative and Population Genetics, Nanjing Forestry University, China. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor  the Section on Statistical Genetics, Department of Biostatistics, University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Meijuan Li received her PhD in biostatistics from the University of Minnesota in 2008.  There, she worked with Dr. Cavan Reilly on developing statistical methods for genetic association studies and genomic studies.  Currently, she is working as a mathematical statistician for the United States Food and Drug Administration in the Center for Devices and Radiological Health.  During her career, Dr. Li has authored over 10 peer-reviewed research articles in the areas of statistical genetics, statistical genomics, Bayesian non-parametric survival data analysis, multivariate non-parametric Bayesian data analysis et al.  She is a member of American Statistical Association and Eastern North American Region/International Biometric Society.

Keumhee Chough Carriere has received her PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA during the period of 1985-1989.  Currently, she is working as Professor at University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities as Associate Chair and currently is the Director of Biostatistics Research Group and the Training Consulting Centre, University of Alberta. She is serving as an editorial member of such reputed journals as Statistical Methods in Medical Research and Journal of Modern Statistical Analysis, and past Editor for special issue in Statistics in Medicine. She has authored over 90 research articles/books. She is a member of Statistical Society of Canada, American Statistical Association (ASA), and International Biometric Society. She has received such honors as Fellow (ASA), Scientist with Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research, Mentor of the Year 2005, among others.

Wenqing He has received PhD in Statistics University of Waterloo, Canada. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, Canada.

Liuquan Sun has received PhD in Statistics from Peking University, Beijing, China. Currently, he is working as Professor, Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.

Saonli Basu has acquired PhD in Statistical Genetics track, Department of Statistics, University of Washington, Seattle, WA. Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor in University of Minnesota.

Kyoungmi Kim has completed his PhD in Statistics from University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. Currently, She is working as an Assistant Professor, Division of Biostatistics, Department of Public Health Sciences, and Rowe Program in Human Genetics, School of Medicine, University of California, Davis, CA.

Haitao Chu has completed his PhD in Biostatistics, Emory University. Currently he is working as an Associate Professor, Division of Biostatistics, University of Minnesota at Twin Cities.

Yisheng Li has received his PhD in biostatistics from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, during the period of 1998-2003.  Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He has authored 33 research articles/books. He is a member of the American Statistical Association, the International Biometric Society Eastern North American Region, the International Society for Bayesian Analysis, and the Society for Clinical Trials. He was accepted into Cambridge Who’s Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs in 2009.

Herbert Pang received his PhD in Biostatistics from Yale University in 2008.  Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Duke University School of Medicine. He has served on cancer protocol committee at Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center, thesis committee for Clinical Research Training Program at Duke University Medical Center, and program committee for the Third International Conference on Biomedical Engineering and Informatics, and as a reviewer for nine statistics/biomedical journals. He has authored nine research articles/books. He is a member of American Association for Cancer Research, American Statistical Association, International Biometric Society, International Society for Computational Biology, and a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society.

Rongling Wu has received PhD in Quantitative Genetics, Currently working as Courtesy Professor of Statistics, University of Florida.

J.Efird completed his Doctorate in Epidemiology (Biostatistics Concentration) at Stanford University School of Medicine. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health, Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University (ECU) and has a joint appointment as Epidemiologist/Chief Statistician in the Center for Health Disparities Research.  Prior to joining ECU, Dr. Efird was Director of the Biostatistics Facility at the John A. Burns School of Medicine (Honolulu, Hawaii) and an Associate Member of the Cancer Research Center of Hawaii.

Chengjie Xiong is an Research Associate Professor of Biostatistics at Washington University School of Medicine. He has been a co-course master of the Genetic Epidemiology Master of Science (GEMS) program.

Mariano J. Valderrama has completed his PhD in Mathematics. Currently, he is working as Professor, Department of Statistics and Operations Research, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Granada, Spain.

Xiaohua Douglas Zhang has received PhD from Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh, PA in statistics. Currently he is working as an Associate Director for Merck Research Laboratories.

Weng Kee Wong has received PhD in Statistics 1990 from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis-St.Paul. Currently he is working as Professor in department of Biostatistics, UCLA.

Arindam Roy Choudhury is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics in the Division of Statistical Genetics, Department of Biostatistics at Columbia University Medical Center. He received PhD in Statistics Statistical Genetics Track from University of Washington, Seattle 2002-2006. He was a post-doc at Harvard University 2006-2008 and Cornell University 2008-2009. He joined Columbia University as an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics in the year 2009. He has independent work on linkage analysis, association studies, population genetics, and analysis of SNP data. He has been working on applications of likelihood-based methods on these fields. He also has collaborative works on psychiatric and neurological disorders.

Kesheng Wang has received PhD in Population Genetics and Biostatistics from the University of Goettingen, Goettingen. Presently he is working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, College of Public Health, East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN, USA.

Alosh has received his Ph.D. in Mathematical Demography/ Biostatistics from the School of Hygiene and Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University during the period 1977-1981. He held positions of Assistant and Associate Professor in statistics at the College of Sciences, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Currently, he is an expert Mathematical Statistician and Biostatistics Team Leader at the Office of Biostatistics, Center of Drug Evaluation and Research at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as team leader. He has authored over 40 research articles in refereed scientific journals dealing with integer-valued time series, modeling longitudinal data, handling missing data and addressing multiplicity issues in clinical trials. He served as co-editor of the Recent Development in Statistics and its Applications, King Saud University. He is a member of the International Biometric Society and a previous member of the American Statistical Association. He received several awards during his tenure at the FDA.
