Xincun Dou, male, born in May, 1981, PhD, professor of the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics & Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He got his bachelor’s degree from East China Normal University in 2004. Since obtained his doctor’s degree in materials physics and chemistry at Institute of Solid State Physics, CAS in 2009, he has been working in the same institute as an assistant professor till Jul, 2011. During the period of Nov 2009 to Nov 2011, he worked as a research fellow at Energy Research Institute @ NTU, Nanyang Technological University. In Jul 2011, he got his current position. He was engaged in high performance new materials related to energy harvesting and environment protection, such as thermoelectric materials, solar energy harvesting materials, hydrogen storage materials, photocatalyst etc. And at the same time to understand the underlying mechanisms. The device performance is of particular interest. Professor Xincun Dou has received his Ph. D in Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) during the period of Sep 2004 to Jun 2009. Currently, he is working as a full professor in the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics & Chemistry, CAS. He has authored more than 20 research articles and one book chapter. He has been honored as “Excellent president award of CAS” and “Excellent young scholar award” in C-MRS previously.

Dr. Sedzik visited Japan for two years (1996-1998) through a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship. His host researcher was Prof. Uyemura at Keio Univesity. He has furthermore visited Japan on at least two other occasions. In 1998 he spent three months at Tsukuba National Laboratory, hosted by Dr. M. Ataka. Between 1999 and 2000 ha was Visiting Professor at Osaka University. Supported by JSPS via Special Invitation Program, he visited in 2007 Kagoshima University and in 2009 National Institute of Physiological Sciences in Okazaki. Since August 2009, Jan Sedzik is temporary employed by the NIPS, as Guest Professor.

He is working in BioNanoTechnology Research Development Center funded by Fatih University and State Planning Organization
He has received his PhD from Gebze Institute of Technology Turkey in 2003 He was a postdoctoral researcher in Pohang University of Science and Technology POSTECH South Korea2003-2004

Biography of Nuri Oncel Prof Dr Nuri Oncel has received his PhD in the University of Twente during the period of 2003-2007.
Currently he/she is working as an Assistant Professor in the University of North Dakota.
