In general population, rapid aging is parallel increasing with volume of elderly patients requiring anesthesia and surgery. Geriatric anesthesia involves with the study of anesthesia approaches in elderly. Anesthetic agents act more sensitively towards elderly patients. In order to achieve desired clinical effect less medication is usually more preferable. Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics aspects of anesthetic management also with the geriatric patients. Surgery to the Geriatric patients involves by checking the consequences and impact on common comorbidities such as hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease on physiologic reserve. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
