Alexander A. Vitin

Biography

Dr. Alexander Alexei Vitin is an Associate Professor and Director of Transplant Anesthesia at Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine, University of Washington. His education and training include an M.D. from Kharkov Medical University, Ukraine in 1981, Ph.D. from the same University in 1985, a residency in surgery (1991-1983), then residency in anesthesia and intensive care at the University of Tel Aviv Sackler School of Medicine in 1992-1997. He is an active researcher, publishing 45 refereed articles since 1976. He has served his profession in a number of roles: the UW associate professor of anesthesiology, director of Transplant Anesthesia, investigator for several research projects.
