Dr. Silva Markovic-Plese is Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at University of North Carolina, USA .Dr. Silva Markovic-Plese research interests focus on molecular events involved in the initiation of autoimmune response in multiple sclerosis (MS) and mechanisms of action of immunomodulatory and neuroprotective therapies for this disabling disease.
