Biography

Associate Prof/Dr Serdar Sivgin, MD; has received his MD from Erciyes University in the field of Hematology and Stem Cell Transplantation Clinic. Currently, he is working as academic staff in the Department of Hematology and Stem Cell Transplantation, Erciyes University, Kayseri, Turkey. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as a specialist in Hematology. He has received several awards and honors, such as: Best Abstract Award in the 3rd International Congress on Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma; 11-14 May, 2011, Ä°stanbul, Turkey. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Erciyes Medical Journal and Case Reports in Clinical Pathology. He/she has published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals and is an author of Dyslipidemias in Kidney Disease Springer. book. He/she is a member of Turkish Association of Hematology.

Research Interest

His primary research interests include hematological disorders, hematological malignancies (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma etc.) and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation strategies (both autologous and allogeneic).
