Biometrics and Biostatistics are disciplines of biological sciences concerned with the application of mathematical-statistical theory, principles, and practices to the observation, measurement, and analysis of biological data and phenomena. Biostatistics deals with the application of statistics to a wide range of topics in biology.
Journal of Biometrics and Biostatistics is a leading peer reviewed journal, promoting open access publishing in the collection of major scientific journals available in the scientific society. This promotes the application of statistical methods to the solution of biological problems.
Journal of Biometrics and Biostatistics is a academic journal and aims to publish most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. in all areas related to Biometrics, Medical statistics and making them freely available through online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide.
It is an online manuscript submission, review and managing systems. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of Journal of Biometrics and Biostatistics or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system, hopefully to publication. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Editors can manage the whole submission/review/revise/publish process.
"Behaviometrics" is the word which is gotten from the expressions "behavioral" and "biometrics". "Behavioral" alludes to the way how the individual acts while biometrics is a quantifiable conduct used to check the personality of a man. Behaviometrics focuses on behavioral patterns rather than physical attributes.

Biometrics is the science and innovation of measuring and measurably dissecting natural information. In data innovation, biometrics as a rule alludes to innovations for measuring and breaking down human body attributes, for example, fingerprints, eye retinas and irises, voice designs, facial examples, and hand estimations, particularly for confirmation purposes.

Biostatistics is the branch of statistics responsible for the proper interpretation of scientific data generated in the biology, public health and other health sciences. It seeks to distinguish between correlation and causation, and to make valid inferences from known samples about the populations from which they were drawn.

Microarray Studies is a set of DNA sequences representing the entire set of genes of an organism, arranged in a grid pattern for use in genetic testing. A microarray of immobilized single-stranded DNA fragments of known nucleotide sequence that is used especially in the identification and sequencing of DNA samples and in the analysis of gene expression.

Big data is a term of data sets being generated large or complex that traditional data processing applications are inadequate. Big data is arriving from multiple sources at an alarming velocity, volume and variety. Challenges include analysis, capture, data curation, search, sharing, storage, transfer, visualization, and information privacy.

Genetic linkage is an effective device to identify the chromosomal area of infection qualities. It is based on the observation that genes that reside physically close on a chromosome remain linked during meiosis.
Image registration is an important enabling technology in medical image analysis. Non rigid image registration refers to a class of methods where the images to be registered have nonlinear geometric differences.

Statistical approach to forecasting exchange in a stylish variable on the basis of change in one or more unbiased variables. Identified also as curve fitting or line fitting for the reason that a regression evaluation equation can be used in fitting a curve or line to data elements, in a way such that the differences in the distances of information aspects from the curve or line are minimized. Relationships depicted in a regression evaluation are, nevertheless, associative handiest, and any intent-result (causal) inference is only subjective. Often known as regression process or regression technique.

Hypothesis testing refers to the process of choosing between competing hypotheses about a probability distribution, based on observed data from the distribution. Hypothesis testing refers to the formal procedures used by statisticians to accept or reject statistical hypotheses.

Robust Method defines characteristic describing a model's, test's or system's ability to effectively perform while its variables or assumptions are altered. A robust concept can operate without failure under a variety of conditions.
Statistical methods can be contrasted with deterministic methods. These methods are widely used in the life sciences, in economics, agricultural science and physical sciences in the study of measurement errors.

Gaussian Markov random fields (GMRFs) is a powerful modelling tool, which are discrete domain Gaussian random fields equipped with a Markov property. GMRFs allow us to combine the analytical results for the Gaussian distribution as well as Markov properties, thus allow for the development of computationally efficient algorithms.

*Unofficial 2015 Journal Impact Factor was established by dividing the number of articles published in 2013 and 2014 with the number of times they are cited in 2015 based on Google search and the Scholar Citation Index database. If 'X' is the total number of articles published in 2013 and 2014, and 'Y' is the number of times these articles were cited in indexed journals during 2015 then, impact factor = Y/X
