Xenotransfusion (from Greek xenos- strange or foreign), a form of xenotransplantation, was initially defined as the transfer of blood from one species into the veins of another. Earlier it was solely concerned with the transfer of blood to another species. This is a very dangerous and unethical procedure as the recipients health is on risk. Donor is not much affected but the recipient life is on high risk.
