Diabetes mellitus or simply diabetes is a group of disorder which is characterized by excess of blood glucose levels. This is a most dreadful disorder that causes damage all over the body in a due course of time. The most common and the first affected part of the body is foot followed by eye, kidney etc. Diabetic foot is a most common problem in diabetes. 15 % of the people suffering from diabetics experience foot complications and this can eventually lead to amputation of lower limb. The most common foot problem is ulceration, infection or neuropathic osteroarthropathy. Atmost care needed to be taken by the diabetic patients regarding the foot, as it can be easily infected.
