âDrug misuse is associated with a variety of somatic and psychiatric disorders, some of which are associated with certain types of drugs. For example, bladder effects, cognitive dysfunction, dissociative symptoms and depression have been found in chronic ketamine abusers, whereas psychotic symptoms have been reported among methamphetamine and cocaine abusers, and heroin abusers are often diagnosed with antisocial and borderline personality disorder.
