Adebola O. Adesanya is Director of Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He received his MBBS from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1988 and completed a residency in Anesthesiology and Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine from Mayo Clinic. He received his MPH from the University of Texas School of Public Health, Houston, Texas in 2007. He was recognized as "Teacher of the year" by the residents and fellows of the department of Anesthesiology at UTSW in 2006. He has authored several publications and is a reviewer for 6 journal in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.
