Prof Dr. Andreas Michalsen has received his PhD in 2007 at the University DuisburgEssen University. Currently he is working as Professor of Medicine and Director of the Department of internal and Complementary Medicine at Charite Medical University Centre Berlin Germany. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals and has authored more than 100 peerreviewed research articles and several books. He is an executive board member of the German and the European Society of Natural and Complementary Medicine.
He is principal investigator of several current international research projects focusing on Yoga, Meditation, Mind-Body Medicine and Ayurveda.
