Biography
Antonio Jose Grande (Assistant Professor) has a PhD in Internal Medicine and Therapeutics from the Federal University of Sao Paulo (Brazil), and is an associate professor of the Department of Public Health of the Extremo Sul Catarinense University in Brazil. Dr Grande is currently associate researcher of the British Heart Foundation Centre on Population Approaches for Non-Communicable Diseases at the University of Oxford. Dr Grande has published over 50 peer-reviewed research paper and is a member of the Cochrane Collaboration and co-editor of the Testing treatments a Portuguese version website.
Research Interest
Evidence-based practice, randomized controlled trials, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, physical activity, health interventions, diagnostic tests, health technology assessments.
