Biography
Dr Beverley Russell completed her PhD in Health Policy Concentration from Brandeis University The Heller School for Social Policy and Management in 2005 She is presently serving as Director of Research and Evaluation at Center for Community Health Education Research and ServiceShe has experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods particularly focus groups and interviews having developed and implemented focus groups with community residents academic researchers and health center providers on such topics as lupus asthma hypertension and diabetes She has served as an investigator on grants from the NHLBI HRSA and CDCEDUCATION
Research Interest
Dr. Beverley Russell has broad experience in the areas of international and minority health, community-based participatory research, program planning and evaluation, and health disparities. Dr. Russell has special research interests in maternal and child health, transnational migration and aging minority populations, particularly Caribbean elders and their quality of life and chronic diseases.
