Dr. Lucian Bogdan Solomon is an Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide and a senior Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Adelaide Hospital specialising in trauma and reconstructive surgery of the hip in knee After graduating from the Medical Univerity in Cluj/Romania in 1989 he completed the Romanian orthopaedic training program and became an orthopaedic surgeon in 1996 and in 1997 he was awarded a PhD by the Medical University of TgMures/Romania After completing fellowships in Australia Germany and the USA. He moved to Australia in 2000 and became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2005. His current research interests are related to outcomes of primary and revision hip arthroplasty hip preservation surgery fracture healing and treatment of osteoporotic fracture.
