Biography

Professor Byung-Joo Park is current professor of Department of Preventive Medicine at Seoul National University College of Medicine, honorary President of Korean Society for Pharmacoepidemiology and Risk Management, and the first President of the Korea Institute of Drug Safety and Risk Management(KIDS). And he has served as President of Korean Society of Epidemiology, and President of Korea Association of Health Technology Assessment. He became Fellow of ISPE (FISPE) in 2003 and has served as Chairperson of Global Development Committee in the ISPE from 2004 to 2012. He has served as a Regional Editor of Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety covering Asia, Africa, and Middle East since August 2010.

Research Interest

Clinical epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, research methodology, and medical statistics.
