Dr. Chang-Guo Zhan is Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy, University of Kentucky. Dr. Zhan received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Notre Dame and a Ph.D. in Science from Institute for Molecular Science IMS, Japan. Dr. Zhan performed his postdoctoral research training as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Department of Medicine, Columbia University. Dr. Zhan joined the UK College of Pharmacy faculty as Associate Professor and was promoted to Professor. Dr. Zhan was elected as Fellow of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists AAPS. Dr. Zhan is a winner of Emerging Computational Technology Prize, American Chemical Society ACS Division of Computers in Chemistry. He has served as Chair of AAPS Computational Drug Design Focus Group and on AAPS National Biotechnology Conference Programming Committee.
Dr. Zhan’s current research interests include: Rational drug design and discovery; drug development; molecular pharmacology; pharmacokinetic modeling; medicinal chemistry; computational chemistry.
