Biography
Professor Georgios C. Papadopoulos is currently the head of the laboratory of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology and Veterinary Faculty at School of Health Sciences, Aristotle University, Greece. He obtained his Ph.D. in Neuroanatomy from Aristotle University, Greece. Professor Papadopoulos has received many prestigious award, grants and fellowships, his contribution to the field of neuroimmunology can be seen in his numerous publication made in various reputable journals.
Research Interest
Professor Georgios C. Papadopoulos is the Leader of the Neuroscience group in the Department of Structure and Function of the Domestic Animals in AUTh with current research interests on ‘neurogenesis in the adult brain’ and ‘the use of stem cells in treating neuronal pathologies’.
