Giuseppina Simone studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Napoli in Italy and obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. During the years of her PhD she was fascinated by microfluidics in particular due to the role that those devices might have in supporting the research of unravelled biological questions. She was formed in prestigious worldwide institute and there she gained and strength her knowledge and curiosity for biological mechanisms.
