Hua Wang

Biography

Hua Wang is a research chemist in the Bioanalytical Chemistry Department of WIL Research Laboratories, a contract research organization company in Ashland, OH. Prior to joining WIL Research, he was a research scientist (2014-2015) in the department of Biological Mass Spectrometry and Biomarker Research of Genzyme Corporation in Framingham, MA. His job duties in WIL and Genzyme are developing LC-MS/MS assays for therapeutic proteins and small molecules quantification in biological matrices. He received his degrees of bachelor (2003) and master (2006) in organic chemistry from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He completed his Ph.D. study in chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in 2014.

Research Interest

Mass Spectrometric Immunoassay (MSIA) techniques for therapeutic antibodies, proteins and peptides analysis. Top-down and Bottom-up protein analysis by mass spectrometry. Reverse phase and HILIC chromatographic separation techniques for small molecules.
