Biography
Dr. Ji-Chang He is an Associate Professor at the New England College of Optometry with a BS in Optical Instrumental Engineering from Zhejiang University in China, a MS in Physiological Optics from the Shanghai Institute of Physiology, Chinese Academy of Science in China, and a PhD in Bio-Psychology from the University of Chicago. He has been a post-doc research fellow at the Schepens Eye Research Institute, Harvard Medical School. He is a member of Optical Society of America and a member of Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. His areas of research include optics of the eye and its visual performance, accommodation, presbyopia, myopia development, color vision and spatial vision. He is using various techniques including the wavefront aberrometry, corneal topography, Scheimpflug imaging, OCT imaging, psychophysical test and theoretical modeling.
