Biography
Prof. Jian-Ru Gong received her Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) in 2005. She was a Postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University, Chemistry & Chemical Biology Department during 2005-2008, and joined National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, China(NCNST) in 2009. Her achievements in academia have been recognized by many awards, including Chinese National Natural Science Prize (2007), First-rank Prize of China Association for Instrumental Analysis (2006), Procter & Gamble Honorary Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2004) and Young Scientist Prize of ICCAS (2004). The outstanding work was evidenced by publications on prestigious scientific journals, such as Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA,J. Am. Chem. Soc.,Small,J. Phys. Chem. B,Chem. Mater., and Prof. Gong is also a reviewer of Journals in American Chemistry Society etc.
