Biography

Artem N. Kuzovlev, MD, PhD is an anesthesia and intensive care doctor and the Head of the Laboratory of clinical pathophysiology of critical states at the V.A. Negovsky scientific research institute of general reanimatology of the Russian Academy of medical sciences. His current research interests are investigations into the pathogenesis, early diagnosis and treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome, severe pneumonia, sepsis. Dr. Kuzovlev is a National Course Director and Course Organizer for the European Resuscitation Council cardiopulmonary resuscitation courses in Russia, a member of the several European Resuscitation Council working groups. Dr. Kuzovlev is an Associate Professor at the Department of anesthesiology and intensive care medicine of the Moscow state medical-dental university. Dr. Kuzovlev had several research and clinical observerships in Germany and Norway, is a co-author of more than 25 publications.
