Dr. Marisa Gariglio is the Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Virology at the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine University of Piemonte Orientale Avogadro NovaraItaly Professor of Medical Microbiology Medical School University of Piemonte Orientale Avogadro NovaraItaly. She received the degree in Biology from the University of Turin in 1984 and the Medical degree from the University of Turin in 1990. She completed her PhD program in Immunology and Microbiology at the University of Turin. After postdoctoral training at the Department of Molecular Biology Hoffmann La Roche Basel studying transcriptional regulation of interferoninducible genes she joined the University of Piemonte Orientale at Novara in 1995 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine. She has published 80 articles in Peer-reviewed Journals.
