Biography

Marta Hauser is a clinical psychologist from Berlin, Germany. She graduated from the University of Potsdam, Germany in 2006 (MS) and received her PhD from the Charite University Medical Center Berlin, in 2011. Her professional activities have focused on the early identification and prevention of psychosis. From 2003 to 2009, she worked as a clinical psychologist at the Early Recognition and Intervention Center for Beginning Psychoses (FETZ program), a dedicated research program, in Berlin, Germany. Since 2009, she has been working with Dr.Christoph Correll at The Zucker Hillside Hospital, New York, continuing her research activities in the area of early recognition and prevention of psychosis and broadening them to include the prodrome preceding syndromal bipolar disorder. Currently, she is mostly involved in co-leading a large scale, single site study, aiming to characterize the bipolar and psychotic prodrome with a variety of biological and clinical measures.
