Dr. Mira Aubuchon grew up in Wisconsin and then attended medical school at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. There, she became interested in reproductive endocrinology/infertility during my obstetrics and gynecology rotation. She then went to Washington University in St Louis for residency in obstetrics and gynecology, where she became interested in polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos) through collaboration with a neurologist investigating obstructive sleep apnea in that population. From there she completed a reproductive endocrinology/infertility fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY and subsequently became board-certified in the subspecialty. She served as an Assistant Professor for 4 years at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio, followed by my current position as Assistant Professor and Director of the in-vitro fertilization program at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
