Paul J Rosch MD FACP is President of The American Institute of Stress Clinical Professor of Medicine and Psychiatry at New York Medical College and Honorary Vice President of the International Stress Management Association Dr Rosch has served as President of the New York State Society of Internal Medicine President of The Pavlovian Society Chairman of the International Foundation for Biopsychosocial Development and Human Health Expert Consultant on Stress to the United States Center for Disease Control and on the Advisory Board of numerous organizations involved in the delivery of health care He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners Fellow and Life Member of the American College of Physicians Emeritus Member of The Bioelectromagnetics Society Emeritus Member of The Endocrine Society Fellow of the Council of Epidemiology of the American Heart Association Fellow of the Society of Behavioral Medicine Fellow of the Council on Geriatric Cardiology Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Sciences Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine The Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and a member of the International Advisory Committee School of Psychology and Social Science Universidad de Flores in Buenos Aires Dr Rosch is or had served as Editor of Stress Medicine Associate Editor of The International Journal of Emergency Mental Health and International Journal of Stress Management and the Editorial Board of Journal of Human Stress International Journal of Psychosomatics Cardiovascular Reviews and Reports Comprehensive Therapy Journal of Human Behavior and Health Inform; Essential Information on Alternative Health Care and Journal of Molecular Imaging and Dynamics He has been the recipient of numerous honors including the Outstanding Physicianrsquo;s Award of the New York State Medical Society Man of the Year Award with a Congressional Citation the Schering Award the International Distinguished Service Award of the American Rural Health Association the Innovation Award of The International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine and an award from Dr Michael E DeBakey President of the American Society for Contemporary Medicine and Surgery for contributions to our understanding of stress health and disease He has been interviewed on every major television network including 60 Minutes and his paper or comments have been published in prestigious medical journals as well as Time Newsweek and other leading lay magazines.
