Biography

Rajagopal Ramesh  is a Cancer Research Working Group Member of AACR Chemistry (2006-present). American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) Member (1997-present). ASCO Associate Member (2006-present) NPA - National Postdoctoral Association Associate Member (2006-present).

Research Interest

Novel gene-based therapeutics using viral and non-viral vectors with emphasis on translational cancer research. 1) Development and testing of non-viral and nanoparticle-based gene delivery for cancer treatment, 2) Antitumor and anti-angiogenic properties of IL-24. Their findings have lead to Phase I clinical trials for treatment of solid tumors.
