Biography

Dr. Siyang Wang is currently working as Scientist in Bioanalytical Chemistry Department at LakePharma company where she is responsible for analytical method development for a wide range of antibodies analysis. She received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University during the period of 2009-2012. Her research was mainly focus on the development of innovative microfluidic platforms and nanosensors for biomedical applications associated with a variety of diseases, especially in biomarker’s detection of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and cancer. In 2013-2014, she worked as a Postdoctoral research fellow in Department of Chemistry at University of Texas. She worked on state-of-the-art microfluidic platforms and nanotechnology for fast analysis of Meningitis disease. Her critical scientific achievements have been presented in various international conferences, as well as authored in a number of high impact peer-reviewed journals.

Research Interest

Research interests are on the development of microfluidic devices for point of care diagnostics. Her expertise involves in a broad area, including surface modifications, fluorescence probe, protein engineering and biomarker’s detection
