Biography

Dr. Sunit Kumar Singh has completed his Bachelor’s degree programme from GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar and Master’s from CIFE, Mumbai. After completing the Master degree program Dr. Singh moved to Department of Paediatric Rheumatology, Immunology, and Infectious Diseases, Childrens Hospital, University of Wuerzburg, Germany as Biologist. Dr. Singh completed his PhD degree from University of Wuerzburg, Wuerzburg, Germany in the area of Molecular Infection Biology. Dr. Singh has completed his postdoctoral trainings from Dept of Internal medicine, Yale University, School of Medicine, New Haven, Connecticut, USA and Department of Neurology, University of California Davis Medical Centre, Sacramento, California (USA).He has also served as visiting faculty at Dept. of Pathology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, (USA) and Dept. of Arbovirology, Institute of Parasitology, Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic. Presently, he is serving as a Scientist in the area of Infectious Diseases at Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, India. Dr. Singh is leading a research group in the area of Virology at Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, India. There are several awards to his credit such as Skinner Memorial Award, Travel Grant Award, NIH-Fogarty Fellowship and Young Scientist Award. Dr. Singh is member of several International Professional societies such as Society for Neuroscience, member of New York academy of sciences, USA. Dr. Singh is also associated with several International journals of repute as Associate editor and Editorial Board Member.
