Dr. Xiaoqi Lin graduated from China Medical University in 1985, from graduate school of China Medical University in 1988 and graduate school of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences/Peking Union Medical College in 1991. He completed Pathology residency in 2006 and Cytopathology fellowship in 2007 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Since completion of fellowship training, Dr. Lin has been working at Northwestern University as an Assistant Professor and then Associate Professor in Pathology. He is currentlyh active in clinical translational research. His main research interests include genomic mutations and immunoprofiling of neoplasms, and cytomorphology of fine needle aspiration and body fluid. He has published many manuscripts in the peer-reviewed journals and books, and presented frequently in national and international conferences. He is a faculty and author of on-line education programs of CAP, ASC, and IAC. In 2007, he was awarded Papanicolaou Award (Pathologist in training) from Papanicolaou Society of Cytopathology.
