Epitope mapping is the process of identification of the molecular determinants for antibody-antigen recognition on the antigen. Identification of the epitope is a key step in the characterization of monoclonal antibodies, especially those used in therapeutic strategies. It has also been essential in the design of vaccines against toxins or against enzymes. To obtain information on sequential and/or assembled epitopes, various approaches have been developed in conjunction with mass spectrometry. Fine epitope mapping could be achieved by this approach with microgram quantities of antibodies and in a short time compared to conventional mapping methods.
Now-a-days there are many journals published by various organizations. Only a very few journals maintain high standards in terms of the content they publish, one has to be careful while picking information as content that is not reliable and untrue can be harmful to research as well as society. Generally, journals can be rated by considering impact factor, reputation of authors, editorial board members and also in terms of the fee they charge. Quality journals have a good impact factor with reliable content that can be freely accessed worldwide. Maintaining high quality information needs rigorous evaluation of research, discussions between researchers and various other scholars, academicians etc. OMICS Group International is one of the leading Open Access Publishers which is running 700+ peer-reviewed journals with quality articles. Molecular Biology is one of the best quality journals which publish world quality articles. Molecular Biology is a wide range of area that deals with various topics. It publishes original research, review, short communication, case report, mini review etc.
