About the Journal

Immunotherapy is a treatment procedure which enhances or supress the body’s immune system to fight against a disease. Immunotherapies which enhance the immune response are called as activation immunotherapies and those which reduce or suppress the immune response are called as suppression immunotherapies. Immunotherapy is of many types but the major immunotherapies for cancer include Monoclonal antibodies, Cancer vaccines and Non-specific immunotherapies.

The Journal of immunotherapy covers a wide range of immunotherapies such as prostate cancer immunotherapy, lung cancer immunotherapy, breast cancer immunotherapy, pancreatic cancer immunotherapy, bladder cancer immunotherapy, ovarian cancer immunotherapy, colon cancer immunotherapy, cervical cancer immunotherapy, allergy immunotherapy (food allergy immunotherapy, cat allergy immunotherapy, peanut allergy immunotherapy, asthma immunotherapy, sublingual immunotherapy), melanoma immunotherapy, etc. The journal also covers immunotherapeutic products, regulatory and FDI guidelines for immunotherapeutics and immunotherapy for kidney failure.

The journal of immunotherapy accepts all types of articles including research, review, case reports, commentaries, hypotheses, meeting reports, editorials and short reports.

Journal of immunotherapy is using Editorial Tracking System for quality in review process. It is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking system used by most of the best open access journals. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of Journal or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor's approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript.

OMICS International organizes 1000+ conferences every year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more scientific societies and publishes 700+ open access journals which contains over 50000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board members.

Cancer immunotherapy

Cancer immunotherapy is the promising new cancer treatment to improve the innate powers of the immune system to fight against cancer. These treatments have few or no side effects, long-lasting cures for any cancer type. Researchers are continuing for developing and delivering effective and safe treatments. Immunotherapy works by applying an external stimulus to the immune system either by man-made or by naturally-derived tumor specific proteins.

Regulatory and FDI Guidelines for Immunotherapeutics

Immunotherapeutic products are target specific and intended for minimal side effects so certain rules must be followed by manufacturer given by FDA under FD&C act and its amendements. FDA ( Food and Drug Administration) regulatory body regulates production and post-production activities of products in conjugation with CBER (Centre for Biologics Evaluation and Research), CDER ( Centre for Drug Evaluation and Research), OBP (Office of Biotechnology Products) and OHOP (Office of Hematology and Oncology Products). They evaluate for purity, potency, viability, quality of raw materials and reagents used in the manufacture. CBER/OCTGT handles cancer vaccines and cell based immunotherapeutic products. CDER reviews monoclonal antibodies.
