The study of parasites is called as parasitology. Parasites are microbial organisms that survives on host. Some of the parasitic diseases such as malaria may lead to lethal conditions. The impact factor of a journal is evaluated by dividing the number of current year citations to the source items published in that journal during the previous two years.
