Gibbons include four genera and 16 species of gibbon including the lar gibbon and siamang and all native to Asia. They are highly arboreal and bipedal on the ground. Hominide include orangutansââ¬â¢ gorillaââ¬â¢s chimpanzees bonobos and humans. All of these come under the family of apes. There are two extinct species gorilla genus and extant species homosapiens. Chimpanzees and bonobos are closely related to each other and they represent two species in genus pan.
