Bioremediation is a waste management technique that involves the use of organisms to remove or neutralize pollutants from a contaminated site. The technology utilizing the fungi predating on the vegetative growth of bacteria in order to transform the bye products of wood into a dynamic three-dimensional web of tube-like cells, called mycelium is known as Mycofiltration. Here in this process, the mycelium can adsorb and digest the bacteria which in turn treating the contaminated water.
