Photosensitizers, which are nontoxic to cells in the absence of light and are activated by light to produce cytotoxic molecules that kill cancer cells, can also be loaded in light absorbing nanomaterials for enhancing photodynamic therapy (PDT). Kytai Truong Nguyen; Photothermal Therapy and Nanomaterials OMICS Group through its Open Access Initiative is committed to make genuine and reliable contributions to the scientific community. It follows an Open Access publication model that enables the dissemination of research articles to the global community free of cost. All the articles are distributed in any digital medium for the responsible purpose, possess subject to proper attribution of authorship and right to make small number of printed copies for the authorâs personal use.
