Autism Open Access is one of the top leading journals in biomedical engineering which publishes novel research articles after rigorous peer-review process by at least 2 expert reviewers of the associated fields.
Neurology & Neurological disorders are interesting fields which are concerned with the application of engineering and science methodologies, intellectual disability, Asperger syndrome, neurobiology, Mental Retardation, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder, speech disorder, depression, brain plasticity, synapse. It involves developing devices and procedures that solve medical and health-related problems by combining their knowledge of biology and medicine with engineering principles and practices. The neurology & neurological disorders requires the analytical tools and broad physical knowledge of modern engineering and science, fundamental understanding of the biological or physiological system, and familiarity with recent technological breakthroughs.
Cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy (CAN) is one of the most serious micro vascular complications of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) and one of the most overlooked. CAN has been considered as an early subclinical feature of diabetic complications as it can occur one year of diagnosis in patients with poor controlled DM Type 2 and after two years of poor controlled DM Type 1, also. Furthermore, it has been associated with increased cardiovascular mortality and morbidity in many studies. The prevalence of CAN is ~17% in patients with type 1 diabetes and 22% in those with type 2. âDidangelos T, Diabetic Cardiovascular Autonomic Neuropathy and Left Ventricular Dysfunctionâ
OMICS is devoted to the prompt publication of original findings of the highest scientific priority and value that provide novel mechanistic insights, represent a clear advance over previous Studies and have the potential to generate exciting future research.
