Economic aspects of the fields of pharmacology and pharmacy as they apply to the development and study of Pharmaceutical Economics in rational drug therapy and the impact of pharmaceuticals on the cost of medical care. Includes instruction in health economics, pharmaco economics, health care systems, health care organization and management, statistics and biostatistics, outcomes research, health care policy, pharmacy services, and pharmaceutical industry operations. the economic considerations of the pharmaceutical care delivery system and in drug prescribing, particularly of cost-benefit values. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
