Audiology

Audiology is said to be branch of science that studies hearing, balance and related disorder. Audiologist is  the practitioners who deals with hearing loss. Audiology aims to determine whether someone can hear with normal range or not by employing various testing strategies like hearing test, otoacoustic emission measurement, videonystamography and electrophysiologic tests.

Tinnitus

It is the hearing of sound in presence of no external sound. It is frequently described as a ringing, it may also sound like a clicking, hiss or roaring. Hardly unclear voices or music are heard. The sound heard may be soft or loud, low pitched or high pitched and appear to be coming from form either one ear or both.

Ear Test

A hearing ear test gives an assessment of the sensitivity of a person's sense of hearing. It involves various tests like Tuning fork Tests, Pure-Tone Testing, Visual Reinforcement Audiometry, Conditioned play audiometry, speech reception threshold (SRT), Tympanometry, Acoustic reflex measures, and Static acoustic impedance.

Audiometric Tests

It is used to determine a subject's hearing levels with the help of an audiometer, but it also measure ability to distinguish between different sound frequencies, recognize pitch, or differentiate speech from background noise. It can also be used for to measure acoustic reflex and otoacoustic emissions.
