There has been a great impetus in enhancing therapeutic index of drugs, particularly in cancer, and infl ammation. Towards this direction, macromolecular and nano- scopic forms of delivery systems are being engineered as prodrug conjugates, depots (liposomes, nanoparticles), polyplexes (complexes), and micelles (self assemblies). Th e talk will highlight the opportunities and challenges in designing such multi- component macromolecular delivery systems targeted for cancer, infl ammation, and imaging.
