Biography :

Alex Thiersch specializes in employment law and commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on drafting employment contracts and employment policies, performing audits of businesses? employment practices, and counseling and representing businesses in lawsuits for employment discrimination, sexual harassment and breach of contract. Thiersch has handled all aspects of employment and commercial litigation in both federal and state court, from advising clients, preparing responses to requests from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, drafting and arguing motions for summary judgment, and preparing cases for trial. Mr. Thiersch received his J.D. from the DePaul University College of Law in 2001 and his B.A. from University of Iowa in 1997. He is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and before the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Thiersch is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.
