Abstract:

Both Schizophrenia and Parkinson?s disease are very much linked to the dopaminergic system, yet a larger understanding that goes behind this ?simplified explanation? of the linked phenomena remains important to further novel advances. The description of factors related to both disorders including implicated receptors, the involved neurotransmitters and enzymes, pharmakons? properties and the related symptoms and dysfunctions might have diverse consequences, mainly, the new therapeutic implications which lie on the pharmacological applications via the pathogenesis explanations and the identification of new possible targets, in addition to the potential development of new researches? methods.

Biography :

Abdelaziz Ghanemi graduated with the Secondary Education Baccalaureate Degree with honors in 2004. In 2009, he graduated from the Medicine Faculty of Mentouri-Constantine University (Algeria) with a Pharmacist Diploma (Valedictorian). In 2009, he received the Chinese Government Scholarship to do his master (MSc) degree in China. From September 2009 to June 2010 he took a one-year Chinese language Class at China Pharmaceutical University (Nanjing city, Jiangsu Provence, China). On June 2013, he obtained a Master?s degree in Pharmacology from China Pharmaceutical University. Currently, he is the recipient of a 2013 CAS-TWAS President?s Postgraduate Fellowship and is a PhD candidate majoring in Neurobiology at the Key Laboratory of Brain and Cognitive Sciences and Key Laboratory of Animal Models and Human Disease Mechanisms of Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and an Editorial Board Member (Reviewer) of the Peak Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science. He was selected to represent Chinese Academy of Sciences at the Global Young Scientist Summit@one-north.
