Biography
Dr. Ashok Dinasarapu has a B.Sc degree in Chemistry & Biology (1997), M.Sc in Biochemistry (2000) and M.Tech (Master of Technology, 2002) in Biotechnology. In 2007, Dr. Dinasarapu obtained a Ph.D degree in Biochemistry (University of Hyderabad, India) with an emphasis in Bioinformatics. Later, He spent five and half years (2008-2013) as a Postdoctoral fellow at the University of California San Diego (USA). Currently, he is working as a research associate at the University of Florida, Gainesville. He is serving as an expert reviewer for several reputed journals like Bioinformatics, Metabolomics, Molecular BioSystems, Briefings in Bioinformatics, Journal of Biomedical Informatics, Journal of Proteomics & Bioinformatics, Journal of Computer Science & Systems Biology, Molecular Genetics and Genomics, and International Journal of Bioinformatics Research and Applications. He was a program committee member and reviewer for the International Symposium on Integrative Bioinformatics 2013 (Germany) and 2014 (UK). He has published over 20 original research/review articles.
Research Interest
His research interests include Bioinformatics and Systems Biology of innate immune mechanisms during HIV infection.
