Systemic Lupus Erythematosus is an autoimmune disease in which bodyâs own immune cells and organs attack its own cells and tissues. In these diseases, bodyâs immune system can attack any part of the human body. In case of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, the immune system mainly attacks the connective tissues, lungs, heart, bones, blood vessels, liver, kidney, nervous system, etc. The probability of occurrence of SLE is more in females than males. There is no such treatment for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus till now. The person with such disorder ultimately leads to death with the consequence of cardiovascular disease as due to SLE, there is increased rate of atherosclerosis in the person which ultimately leads him to death.
