Biosensor is a combination of a bio receptor and a transducer. It converts the biological response into an electrical signal thereby the measurement is possible. The bio receptor may be a living organism or biological molecules, especially enzymes or antibodies. Measurement of target analyte without using any reagent is an added advantage of biosensor.
