Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Clinical trials performed for different stages of breast cancer. It involves the participation of breast cancer patients where the new drugs are investigated or the combination of existing drugs. Before the commencement of trial a study protocol is designed, participants are divided into groups and treatment is given according group wise.

Clinical trials showed the advantage of hormone therapies and trastuzumab (Herceptin) in breast cancer treatment however these drugs are now a part of standard care.
