The two most common LRI are bronchitis and pneumonia. Chronic bronchitis is an inflammation of the bronchial tubes. Symptoms for LRI include shortness of breath, wheezing, tightness of chest and cyanosis. The major cause of bronchitis is tobacco smoking.
