Radar Imaging: is an application of radar which is used to create two-dimensional images, typically of landscapes. The last two decades have witnessed unprecedented growth in the satellite-based Earth observation industry. Although the market is still strongly biased toward electro-optically derived imagery, a rising tide of acceptance and usage of satellite-derived synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data has occurred during the last few years.
